Ok, Lizards, I am issuing a food challenge.

On Thursday we leave for our anniversary trip. We have access to a full kitchen with most all the tools we could want, but no microwave or grill.

I want to do one meal with fancy cooking (as opposed to the grazing method we employ for the rest of them - cheese, cured meats, crackers, dip prepared at home, chili prepared at home and reheated, and fruits and veggies). Pasta of some sort is probably preferable, but not necessarily required if you can convince me it will be tasty enough. Fish is probably less fantastic because it will be cooked on Friday at the earliest.

(Hint: olives and/or mushrooms and/or capers are a favorite. To the extent that they might get added if missing, because fuck it, I’m the cook.)
