I have found that when one is very specific in their criticism of Obama, as in naming the policy or decision or quote you disagree with you get no racism charge. The wider the brush, the more you get that charge. Circumstances and the echo chamber have served to both amplify the truly racist voices, and in turn, we also have many Obama fans who are in a hypersensitive reaction mode.

Good for ratings and pundits, very damaging to discourse on race.
