Well, that show is on HBO. While not every HBO series is great (John from Cincinnati was a one season and out two-three years ago), HBO and showtime shows are consistently better than their broadcast counterparts. But part of that is that they have freedoms broadcast shows do not.

I have a soft spot for Showtime, as they not only revived The Outer Limits, but also created Stargate: SG-1 and Dead Like Me.
