I posted the Bixby letter after Trump’s rude exchange with Sgt. Johnson’s widow. Lincoln really was our best. His warmth, humor, empathy, and leadership. I always wonder what would have happened in a full second term.

Reconstruction would have been done properly/thoroughly. We’d have done a better job of honoring Indian treaties, and wouldn’t have killed all the buffalo.
