If I were a Jew in France, would the Anti-Semitism there inspire me to move to Israel? Maybe it would: *IF* I had relatives in Israel and *IF* I already knew Hebrew. Moving to a foreign country in middle age or later it is that much harder to learn a new language.

I might consider moving to Quebec because at least they speak French there, even if it is a base provincial dialect.
