it is part of the problem. His stupid religion has blinded him. Especially catholics in Europe. They have been very anti-semitic

A family member recently converted from catholicism to some protestant religion, citing in part the anti-semitic thing among catholics. I hadn’t noticed it myself before, but it’s turning up too regularly to be ignored now.
