I cringed when I first heard the architect was Frank Gehry. He’s known for buildings like this. And this. Kinda cool, but maybe not really appropriate for an Eisenhower memorial.

But the actual design is pretty good, with some of Gehry’s characteristic flair, but still subdued and respectful for a war hero/president.

I kind of like the first one of the samples you linked. Not the second. I never could develop a liking for post-modern architecture. The model of the memorial might be little light. The first photo of the model seems a little weak but the last two in an elevation view look pretty good. It would have been nice to see a traditional marble memorial but those days are long gone for many reasons.
