What’s sad is this has been around for a long time. Every once in a while a Republican trots it out. and people are shocked that they said it.

We had a Georgia legislature who was an Ob Gyn make the same claim on the floor some years ago.

I’d like to say I can’t believe that people would be such moralizing and holier than thou, But when about half of the population of the country thinks the world was formed 6000 years ago, It won’t take much for that majority to force their beliefs on everyone else. Particularly when they feel like they’re some sort of persecuted minority.

That Ob Gyn should have his or her license revoked. (Probably ‘his’.)
