So I see the right wing talking point about Virginia is immigrants made us Democratic. And? That’s my only response. Virginia’s immigrants are attorneys like my former boss. They’re restauranteurs like the family who owns my favorite restaurant. The GOP could compete here if they wanted to but they chose to go full nativist and show contempt to the people who may not have been necessarily been born in the Commonwealth but call it home.
