Why yes, it’s snowing above 9,000 ft. again.

One of those rare years where CDOT can’t get Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park and Independence Pass between Aspen and Twin Lakes in time for Memorial Day.

They did get Guanella Pass between Georgetown and Grant open today.

I still remember the 10’ snow banks on Trail ridge road one year on a late May/early June family road trip. Clearing that must be a hell of a job.
