He’s going to have to apologize for this one. I’m sure it’s the kind of thing wingnuts say in private but it’s not the kind of thing they can get away with in the open. They need to at least keep a think veil on the opposition to Constitutionally protected freedoms.

No way in hell he will walk this back. Not with Sister Sarah and Newt making “refudiation” of Islam in any form a core litmus test for GOP pols.
