It was common practice in Germany until the 60’s that single mothers who led an “immoral lifestyle” could expect to have their children taken away and put into a home.

All it took to be branded “immoral” was to have enough complaints from “concerned neighbors” about irregular hours, male visits, etc.

Sounds like we are on our way back.

Orphanages are not preferable to loving parents.

Again, perhaps we could make more resources available?
