Absolutely right. That’s why the Republican Party pushes the voucher idea so hard. The conservative movement benefits from having a dumb, uneducated voter base.

If school voucher proponents wanted an uneducated public, then we wouldn’t have a problem with public schools being run for the convenience of their teacher’s union.

Vouchers are a response to the failures of public schools in many places, not an attempt to induce failure.
