Great to see. And I have to say as a skeptic, I hope non-believers give their support too. Everyone should be able to worship peacefully without fear of violence being done to them and I sincerely mean that. I many not like what a lot of organized religion stands for but people do have a right to worship without fear of a gunman shooting them.

I’m as athiest as we get but that has nothing to do with empathy and compassion. (I rather think an inverse proportion sometimes but that’s another subject for another time.) If I had been there today I would have been proud to join hands in that wonderful church for a chorus of We Shall Overcome. I know I’m not unique in that.
