See, I differ on this - I definitely think the 2nd amendment should be abolished, rewritten, clarified, whatever you want to call it. It’s just a bad law. Apart from anything else it’s incredibly ambiguously written.

Things aren’t good because they’re in the constitution. They’re in the constitution (in theory) because they’re good.

True, I do think it should be rewritten but good luck getting that done. And you’re right about that regarding good things and the Constitution. The reason why I oppose outright abolishment is I think it would lead to violence and generations of fear propaganda.
