Keith just seems to have had the right genes. I know town drunks still out and about while the church going finger wagging upright is no longer upright.
His excesses have been exaggerated too I suspect.

In other news, my other favorite guitarist Ronnie Wood is coming up on 72 on June 1st.
His early stuff was/is genius.

I’m not sure there’s a right answer to long life. My great-grandfather lived to his mid-90s, smoking god knows how many Cuban cigars until he came to the US in the mid-80s, when he cut down to one or two cigars a day… because they weren’t as good here as they were in Cuba.
