SFPD has been fucked for a long, long time. It’s interesting how different the attitude of people towards cops is when they’ve lived in a place with a corrupt and incompetent police department.

As a reminder of how fucked up the SFPD is:

Guy stabbed to death, no knife found, blood found both outside and inside the apartment, a neighbor reporting hearing banging and his door slamming several times, and the cops decided to treat it as a suicide.

Why? Because his door was locked. If someone had just stabbed you and run out of your apartment, wouldn’t you lock the door? I would.

That guy was my coworker. A nice guy.
