What possible reason could they have for blocking that? WTF.

This is just my reaction.
My employer has an interest in my life for 40 or up to 60 hours a week while I’m working. he has every right to my work emails, texts etc. That’s it. No more.

We have the rest of my life to consider. My private life. The part I get to be the gatekeeper of. My boss and my co workers might not be invited. My privacy matters.

Do I want my Facebook to be a part of my review or promotion prospects? What if my lifestyle is one my boss would not like? He need not know what company I choose to keep. My boss has no more right to my Facebook than he does to my front lawn. He can see what’s in plain view, but entering is up to me.
