Yes it is horrible right now but without firearms the weak would be at the mercy of the strong and ruthless. Firearms in the hands of moral people keep us safe. Weapons are not the problem, it is the hate that is the problem.

Here’s an idea, lets live in a society where we have police officers and a national guard and an army who can enforce the law without needing civilians to be heavily armed to do it.

Sam Colt made people equal but take a look at Somalia and ask them how well that “equality” is working out for them these days…
