Or just enjoy the cruel entertainment value of a partially-anesthetized dog trying to negotiate the house with a cone around his neck. The cats should get a quiet little laugh out of it, at least.

Several years ago our AmStaff (RIP) had to have surgery on his leg.
In the 30 minutes it took to drive home from the vet’s office, he had chewed the Cone of Shame to shreds and started removing staples from the very long incision.
So much for post-surgery anesthesia lethargy…
