See also climate nihilists (those who acknowledge anthropogenic climate change, but argue “why bother, there’s nothing we can do”). It is a pass to be lazy or not put in any effort.

So, earlier I said it’s a fixed game. It is. I stand by that, and anyone who witnessed the lead up to the 2016 election witnessed the same bullshit I did. Now, does that mean “there’s nothing I can do about it” - nope. And I never said that. Look, I’m an asshole, I know that… but I also have one helluve a hunch the game was rigged from the jump.
