Because he knows that no GOP candidate has a snowball’s chance in hell of winning anything in New York so he votes for the most conservative democrat he can in the primaries.

He’s a conservative who is trying to get the most out of his vote.

There’s nothing wrong with that.

It is dishonest and wrong of him however when he tries to leverage the (true fact) that he’s a New York democrat to make himself look like he speaks for all New York democrats or that something he supports must have non bi-partisan support from both Liberals and Conservatives.

Once again, if I was living in Texas or Arizona I’d be a Republican….
