I think I might have spent $120 for a pair of really good field boots once, but other than that, I don’t think I’ve ever spent more than $40 on a pair of shoes ever.

Steel toes run about $120, but decent dress shoes, like Bass’s run around $80. The advantage is that they last for 6 years. Value.
