Judging by the number of people fleeing California vs. coming in, many agree with me.

The complete crash of the new housing construction, on which a significant amount of California’s prosperity rested over the previous few years, caused many people to not find jobs. I noticed a real drop in the number of day-laborers standing around the usual spots (e.g. corners near Home Depot).
