In my book: jealous, envious, and petrified of having to compete in a modern world that’s no longer rigged to their automatic advantage.

But, but, such changes don’t happen overnight. Most change that we fear happens anyway over a generation and people look back and say “I can’t believe we used to live that way”.

At least that’s my take on things.

What advantage do they think they have right now? Or are they still weeping because of Lyndon Johnson and FDR?
