The Greenland Shark is actually the one that people claim could be there, but it also likewise can’t regulate itself for fresh water, not to mention it wouldn’t go there in the first place.

Not to mention that the photo claims the shadowy object is about 100’ in length. Largest known basking shark was <60’ (and measured in 1851). Greenland sharks are smaller still.

Not an expert, but why can’t that “shadow” be a wake pattern from a boat on the loch? It’s a satellite photo.
