You know it’s great to hear these people talk about how they turned around companies, but what gets left out is that in many circumstances they turned things around by cutting wages, laying off employees, eliminating benefits, outsourcing jobs, etc.

That’s a recipe for greater profits, not an improved economy for the U.S.

Now now, you should know better. Dragging down salaries, firing scores of people, and selling parts of the company for whatever you can get is good, because it means that you have potential for future growth! Didn’t you hear that from the Bain apologists…er, supporters?
