I couldn’t be William. The idea of having to produce heirs is repulsive to me because it’s the only way a monarchy can persist.
That’s the real weirdness behind the royal family. Bringing new life into it.

I suspect that that pressure was at least part of what led Princess Masako into periods of deep depression (mostly though the cloistered life of a Japanese imperial princess).
