Because Americans are stupid as shit? I told someone recently that I took an applied calculus class in college and they looked at me like I was speaking in tongues. And that was for taking an applied calculus class. Imagine if I told them I had taken four semesters of calculus, I might have been burned at the stake.

But, hey, we apparently need an affirmative action program for stupid white people now.

Well, calculus to me is all Greek.

Applied calculus is applied Greek.

I wouldn’t burn you at the stake, though. I might give you that look that says “damn I feel stupid.”
