Obama’s speech needs to create the solidarity. That’s who everybody is looking to. I wouldn’t read more into this other than Bush doesn’t want to take away from Obama’s moment, or take attention away from the President in any way, shape or form. Bush had his turn. It’s Obama’s turn now.
