Actually, it’s worked well in Texas. Malpractice insurance premiums stopped skyrocketing and the statesis now adding doctors instead of losing them.

Native Texan hear and no it did not work well. Not for patients anyway. Texas has the highest rate of uninsured citizens of any state in the country. Those uninsured people can’t afford to see those doctors. Texans were told that tort reform would lower insurance premiums and costs for them. That did not happen.
