My guess would be it has to do with the phrasing of the example problems: “Johnny and his moms are shopping for apples. If Johnny grabs 8 Apples and one of his moms grabs 7, how many apples are they buying?”
But that’s not CRT. That would be LGBTQ.
Perhaps it’s because they mention that the concept of a written zero came from outside Europe. Seriously, I have no idea what CRT in a math book would be. I doubt there’s a lot of word problems on the economic differences between the North and South just prior to the Civil War.
