If they say that to me I’ll ask when they’re going to give their land to some Native Americans and leave to the country their ancestors came from.

When I was in college, more years ago than I am prepared to admit, I got into a conversation with a guy at a “foreign policy club” and made this very point. That if Israel should evacuate from its territories, so should Americans return to their countries of origin. The idiot agreed.

I should have asked him when he planned to pack, and offered to help; but at the time I was stunned into silent realization that, without any common foundation in reason, there was no further point in discussion.
