I have a lot of respect for her for doing that. Too often people treat their political parties as if it’s something they can’t dare criticize. Nonsense especially when you have Trump.

In some ways I still see myself as an independent, in that I’m not committed to either party a priori such that no conceivable evidence could change my voting pattern.

However, for a Republican to ever get my vote again as long as I live would take a truly remarkable reform of the Republican party, combined with a massive degeneration of the Democratic Party to some kind of toxic landfill fire.
