So much for the House GOP plan (Boehner’s plan); the CBO scores it…. poorly.

$1 billion saved in the current year (FY 2012), and $851 billion over 10 years.

With so much of the savings supposedly backloaded (as of how it is currently written), how much do you want to think will actually be saved under this plan.

If you say closer to $1 billion than $851 billion, you’d be right. You can rest assured that whatever was supposed to be saved would be spent elsewhere or otherwise altered by a later Congress.
