I don’t own any fancy china or silver. Didn’t ask for any when we got married.

a) the husband is an only child.
b) we’d never use the damn things anyway.

Give me the Corelle plates that are hard to break, and the silverware from like 5 different garage sales.

Well, ok, I’d actually like to unify the silverware into one set, but that’s more because it’s obnoxious when things don’t stack properly in the drawer.

I got all that stuff and I still love it. My friend did the garage sales/ebay and got silver mix matched.

Yes, I do have to elbow grease with the blue gunk every so often.
