I saw Justice Scalia speak yesterday. I already knew I would disagree with him, but I expected him to be impressive - smart - convincing. He wasn’t. He was talking about originalism (in interpreting the constitution). He just made up lame straw men arguments for his opponents and argued with those. According to him, if you aren’t an originalist, you just decide the constitution means whatever you want it to mean on a given day. Come on!
