Nah. This is the perfect time. He really cannot be ditched now, short of an actual criminal indictment or abdication on his part. His core supporters will never leave him, and if the GOP tries to dump him, they’ll be slitting their own throats.

I LOVE the idea of a GOP convention where they are so sick of him that they just go through the motions of nominating him, golf clapping at his speech, and sitting out the fall campaign.
