I don’t think they would endorse the immunity that Trump is seeking - his position is that everything the president does is within the scope of office and therefore protected, unless, maybe/possibly he is impeached and removed. That means, as some have suggested, the president could order Seal Team 6 to assassinate his political rivals (or, perhaps, Supreme Court justices whom he dislikes) and unless Congress impeached and removed him, there’s nothing that could be done about it.

More likely, Alito and Thomas (specifically due to his wife’s involvement) would argue that “protecting election integrity” is within the scope of the president’s office/duties. But that’s a better argument post-trial rather than at the present standing because (at least if they’re following the rules), at this stage they have to accept the allegations of the criminal complaint as true. Post trial, they would have a little more wiggle room based on evidence presented by the defense.
