The best Dad thing kind of went to shit when he cheated on his wife.

Those kids still need their mom and dad to get along and do the best they can for them. Not all parents are able to get along with their ex, but others just don’t want to. I hope the Sanford’s can find a place where they can get along for the sake of these boys. It’s what’s best for the kids, not the adults.
