Have food trucks taken off your way yet? Have to say I’ve become a fan. Loved them because iI could try something new every day. Really developed a fondness for Korean tacos.

No food trucks yet, but kebab has become big.

Here in my downtown, for many years there was one kebab restaurant, and it usually catered to students who’d been out drinking the night away. When I first arrived here a couple of years ago, there were two kebab restaurants.

Now there are 20, scattered throughout the downtown core. Even the Vietnamese have converted a couple of their food stands to kebab stands.

Kebab. It’s what’s for dinner.

And breakfast. And lunch, apparently.
