But even here, in Czech Republic, with its sick days and healthcare, I’ve seen people come to work that looked like they were suffering from bubonic plague. For Czechs at least, pretty much the only thing that would make them call in sick is being on their deathbed.

Germans are less prone to do that.

In any case, we are learning how little we need office spaces (at least on a regular basis) to do most non-directly customer-related business except retail, logistics or service.
