The grandmother lived in Georgia as did the child. What I want to know is why it was adjudicated in Maryland because that state had NO jurisdiction over the child. None.

I think you meant Massachusetts not Maryland. But both parents live in the Worcester MA area. Looks like both parents had some problems and maybe living with grandma was the best thing for him. Unfortunately once the father got the DNA results he would be given visitation, but had the mother or her family voiced concerns there would have been supervised visits until an investigation was complete. I am well aware of how this court works. After I filed for custody of my son my ex-wife did just that and the court would only allow me supervised visits until her claims were proven unfounded and pure spite on her part.
