With due respect, Charles, you should know better than to raise straw men.

For the record, the chain I was commenting on started with a comparison of both sites as sources of immense pain to the victims. It is in that sense, and that sense only, that the comparison is apt.

They are both in the Northern Hemisphere. They both involve places were people died. They both involve places where gravity is 1.0 Earth standard.

There are many ways in which the comparison is apt. Just none that matter.
