Sure. The fact that Texas is carrying a human/cattle load the land cannot meet—and that California is carrying a human/vegetable load the land cannot meet—is an anthropogenic situation. So was the Dust Bowl, for that matter.

This is a good point. However, the rain is going to get less and less in the coming decades. The heat will increase water demand more and more. In fact, it already has.
