That’s awful. He would’ve left out any really disturbing stuff when writing to the women back home, but I know he saw his share. I recently bought a book about WW2 becuase I know very little about it, but I’ve only had a chance to read the first couple of chapters. You’ve reminded me that I really need to pick it back up.
