$80.000 a year driving truck? I do not know of any company paying starting drivers enough a mile for there to be enough legal hours in the year.

Let’s see.. 60 hours a week = 60x52x50=156,000 miles a year with no breaks but the required 34 hour reset each week. .50 cents a mile is rare, usually only after years with the company. .29 ~ .33 is more common these days.
