My wife has asked in the past what I would do if someone invaded our home (we live a long way from the sheriff’s department) since I have a shotgun. I pointed out “if I could get us out of the house I would. I ain’t dying to protect property, that’s why we have insurance.”

She has come around to the idea that might be better than a gun battle in our living room.

The television station reports the shooter is a fellow with a Middle Eastern name (I didn’t catch it) from Port St. Lucie. They then said the FBI said it was Radical Islamic Terrorism (tm) - the FBI did not say that, at least in the press briefing, and I doubt they would tell Channel 9 ABC privately.

I’m not going to buy the radical Islam BS in this until I hear someone that has actual proof of such.

What would be the politics of a radical Islamist attacking a LGBT target at 2:00 AM? Maybe they could use it as an example of the evil west but it just doesn’t make sense to me.

Our media should learn how to shut the hell up until they have some actual facts.

I know…it is tough for them when speculation teases those viewer hits better.
