The edit makes no sense. To say they can’t bring these bills up for debate/vote because their time is limited is to say that universal background checks is something the constituencies these reps serve don’t want.

I get that you don’t agree with the No Fly, No Buy, but lets not conflate these two issues/bills. Do you think that internet sales and gun show sales should be done without back ground checks?
