If an item in the bill doesn’t simulate public sector jobs, it should be put on the back burner. Otherwise, this bill becomes nothing more than a job fair for the federal government.

I’m not saying there isn’t some federal items that don’t need addressing, but most of this is pork.

Like I said before, the problem is most of the pork will benefit republicans and democrats. So, it won’t get smaller, wanna bet?

I’d love to disagree, but you may have nailed it. The best we may get is the bulk of the money will go to job creation in public infrastructure and tax cuts. Expecting a “clean” bill without some goodies for both sides may be optimistic.
